The inspiration
An emotion,a signature.
Saffron burns, black pepper cuts, incense rises. Bergamot and cardamom do no more than set the door ajar. Only then does the black rose open, dense, almost mineral. Cistus resins it, iris powders it, violet and papyrus darken it. Then oud takes the night: leather, black amber, gaiac wood, deep musks, smoked vanilla. Patchouli keeps watch until morning.
