The inspiration
An emotion,a signature.
Pear crunches, blackcurrant leaf stings, violet leaf greens the dawn. Calabrian bergamot and green mandarin hold the light. Three roses answer one another at the heart — Centifolia, Turkish, and the white peony playing the fourth — without ever weighing it down. Lily of the valley spaces them, rose geranium binds them. Florentine iris lays down the train. White musks hold it, sandalwood and vetiver anchor it, ambrette fades it gently away.
