Iris

Iris is the most patient material in perfumery: it is not the flower that is distilled but the rhizome, dried for three years before becoming iris butter. Its scent is powdery, velvety, almost cold — between violet, flour and fine chalk.

It mutes the hearts of Origine, Rosée, Pétales and Empreinte: it is what gives EZER perfumes their powdered touch.
